There’s nothing like a cool, refreshing outdoor beer, especially on a hot summer day. With classics like Samuel Adams and cutting-edge operations like the Lamplighter Brewing Co, the Boston area has a little something for everyone looking to try an interesting brew.

Here are 12 local haunts to take advantage of while the sunny, warm weather cooperates. Check online for hours of operation and whether reservations are required.

Aeronaut Brewing Co., Somerville
