Kawhi Leonard underwent surgery to repair a partial tear of the ACL in his right knee, according to the Clippers.
In a statement issued by the team Tuesday, the procedure was described as “successful,” but there was no timetable given for Leonard’s return.
The injury reportedly occurred in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals. He missed the final eight postseason games for Los Angeles.
The 30-year-old Leonard averaged 24.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.2 assists during the regular season.
