Photos: As spring blossoms, it’s time to tiptoe through the tulips
About 450,000 bulbs from Holland were planted last November at the Wicked Tulips Flower Farm in Exeter, R.I., where acres of open fields are transformed into a carpet of glowing colors. It is the largest U-pick tulip field in New England. Globe photographer John Tlumacki captured the splendor.
