The golf world continues to quake as the Scottish Open, played the week before the British Open, will ban LIV players, ESPN reported Thursday night.

The tournament, July 7-10, is co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and PGA Tour.

The British Open is allowing players from the Saudi-backed invitational series to play in its 150th event, at St. Andrews.

Brooks Koepka, who defected from the PGA Tour this week, had been in the field for the Scottish Open.
