Former Patriots WR Charles Johnson, a member of the first Super Bowl championship team, reportedly dies at 50

Former Patriots wide receiver Charles Johnson has reportedly died at the age of 50.

Johnson, who starred at the University of Colorado, was the 17th overall pick in the 1994 NFL Draft. After spending five seasons with the Steelers and two with the Eagles, he joined New England prior to the 2001 season. Johnson had 14 catches for 111 yards and a touchdown for the Super Bowl winners that season.
