South End shooting results in life-threatening injuries

A person was shot in the South End on Saturday night, suffering life-threatening injuries, Boston police said.

The shooting occurred in the area of 50 to 80 West Dedham St. at 9:58 p.m., said Officer Stephen McNulty, a spokesman for the Boston police.

No arrests have been made.

The shooting is under investigation, McNulty said.
