Joy Ashford

Joy was a 2022 summer/fall co-op in the Arts and Lifestyle section. They particularly love writing about dance, movies, music, queer culture, and religion. They first fell in love with the city’s arts scene as an editor for their college newspaper the Harvard Crimson, and have been writing about the arts in Boston and Cambridge ever since. Their work has been featured in the Washington Monthly, Philadelphia Magazine, U.S. News & World Report, and more.
