About
Maya Homan is a rising senior at Northeastern University, where she is studying journalism and public health. She was a 2022 Living/Arts co-op at The Boston Globe covering arts, culture and feature stories. She first joined the Globe in 2021 as a Magazine, Travel and Address co-op. Her work has appeared in numerous publications, including the Scope: Boston, the Palo Alto Weekly, and Northeastern’s student paper, the Huntington News. In 2021, she was named as a regional finalist for the Society of Professional Journalists' Mark of Excellence Awards for General News Reporting. She enjoys investigating overlooked issues and bringing them to light.
