Critic’s corner: What’s on TV tonight

    John Paul Filo/CBS

The Good Wife Sunday, 9:30 p.m., Channel 4

Last week’s episode doubled as a secret homage to Julianna Margulies’s career. Guest Maura Tierney was the actress who essentially took over Margulies’s slot on “ER” in 1999, and guest Annabella Sciorra was one of Tony’s affairs on “The Sopranos” before Margulies became another one of Tony’s extracurricular interests. Intentional? Or just the odds, given that every actor ever seems to be making an appearance on “The Good Wife”? I’ve been liking this season, by the way, except for the Kalinda plot. The egg scene between her and her husband? OMG. Pictured: Margulies.

    Homeland Sunday, 10 p.m., Showtime

I have not seen Sunday’s episode, but, after all the twists and turns of the past few weeks, I feel as if anything could happen. I’m not convinced Brody has been coopted by the CIA; he may decide to play along with the US but secretly continue to undermine. I’m interested to find out how the subplot that involved the vice president’s son and the car accident plays out. Brody (Damian Lewis, above) may now have a secret to use against his enemy.
