SHARK WEEK Celebrate the Discovery Channel’s Shark Week at the Revere Hotel’s rooftop lounge, Rooftop @ Revere. DJs ON THE HARBOR The Brooklyn-based synth-pop duo Tanlines featuring Jesse Cohen and Eric Emm visits Boston for a DJ set in the ICA’s summer series. In addition to receiving attention in Rolling Stone and Vogue for their 2012 release “Mixed Emotions,” they’ve performed as DJs at festivals and museums including SXSW and the Guggenheim. DJ SHADOW As a high school kid in Davis, Calif., Josh Davis was making beats and breaks on a four-track recorder. With hip-hop as a major inspiration, he became DJ Shadow and in 1996 set a Guinness World Record with his debut release, “Endtroducing...” for the first album made completely from samples.
