The Walking Dead Sunday, 9 p.m. AMC

There were audible gasps (at least in my house) when the Governor (David Morrissey) took a sword to Hershel’s (Scott Wilson) throat in the mid-season finale, decapitating an essential and comforting moral compass. Sunday’s show offers many more questions than answers. A bit too many for my liking. Such as: Where is everyone? The group scattered after the dramatic prison attack. Tonight we follow Rick (Andrew Lincoln, pictured) and Carl’s (Chandler Riggs) journey and finally learn a bit about Michonne’s (Danai Gurira) past through the wonders of flashbacks.

Lil BUB’s Special Special Saturday 9 p.m. Animal Planet

Everybody’s favorite dwarf, polydactyl kitty holds a sleepover bash with some of her animal besties, plus Amy Sedaris and Andrew W. K. But let’s be honest here, folks, it’s all about Bub. If Animal Planet aired a special that showed this adorable feline shopping for a new litter box at Petco, I would still watch enraptured and eat up all the cuteness as if it were a can of Fancy Feast. Not that I eat Fancy Feast. Really.

Classic tale of man meets troubled woman online, man’s life spirals out of control.

The Heiress Saturday, 8 p.m., TCM

Lesson: Do not mess with Olivia de Havilland.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians Sunday, 9 p.m., E!

Kanye plans to propose to Kim. A nation yawns in anticipation.
