Critic’s corner: What’s on TV Monday

LogoTV

RuPaul’s Drag Race 9 p.m., Logo

It is Feb. 24, but in my calendar tonight is Christmas. Gentlemen, start your engines, because the finest reality show on television is back for a sixth season. This week’s challenge is to design a high-fashion outfit inspired by a TV show. Because most of the queens on this show are young’uns, they opt for “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” (yawn) or “Dancing With the Stars.” Thankfully BenDeLaCreme chooses “The Golden Girls.” Tonight’s judges are Adam Lambert and Mike Ruiz. Enough of the chatter. Bring back my girls!

Private Lives of Nashville Wives 10 p.m., TNT

I can’t believe there are two shows about drag queens on TV tonight. Wait, what? The Nashville wives are actually real women who just happen to wear a lot of makeup and sparkling tight clothes? Ok, I get it. Sorry for the confusion. The cast here is somewhat predictable: The wife who wants her own music career, the wife who is a former soap opera star with an itch to get back on screen, the former Hooters waitress wife. The only difference from the “Real Housewives” is that activities include pig slaughter and watermelon shooting.

Love It or List It 9 p.m., HGTV

I predict tonight’s couple will be looking for open-concept living, with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Just a hunch.

The Voice 8 p.m., NBC

The show is back, however Christina Aguilera and CeeLo are not.
