Day full of smiles Since 1999 World Smile Day has been celebrated in Worcester with a variety of smile-themed activities. Local events have included creating the world’s largest human smiley face, choral performances, a hot-air balloon, college a cappella concerts, circus performers and elephants, and more. Roll out the barrels Grab your lederhosen and your stein, because it’s time for Octoberfest. Boston’s Harpoon Brewery will be holding it’s annual celebration of beer and bratwursts this weekend.
