ESPN BOOK OF MANNING Dad Archie and sons Peyton and Eli make up the first family of football (first family of quarterbacking, too). This amiable documentary offers an up-close and personal look at the clan. (ESPN, $14.95)

LA NOTTE Marcello Mastroianni and Jeanne Moreau play a troubled married couple (at right), and Monica Vitti is part of the trouble, in Michelangelo Antonioni’s 1961 masterpiece of affluent anomie. Extras: digital restoration, new subtitles, trailer. (Criterion Collection, $29.95; Blu-ray, $39.95)

KINKY BOOTS Another of those British comedies about blue-collar folks whose strife always ends in delight. This one stars Chiwetel Ejiofor (“12 Years a Slave”) as a drag queen who helps an uninspired businessman (Joel Edgerton) make killer shoes. Allegedly based on a true story, it’s a comic-strip crowd-pleaser. Extras: alternate and deleted scenes, featurette on the real-life shoe factory. (Miramax Echo Bridge, $9.99)

THE BEAUTY OF THE DEVIL French director Rene Clair offers this 1950 French version of the Faust tale, as alchemy professor Michel Simon sells his soul to the devilish, and devilishly handsome, Gerard Philipe. Extras: 2010 documentary featurette, trailers. (Cohen Media Group, $24.98; Blu-ray, $34.98)
