Boston Baroque has named Miguel A. Rodriguez its next executive director. Trained as a lyric tenor, Rodriguez (inset) has worked with Opera Boston and other local musical organizations, and has also worked as a fund-raiser for political campaigns, including most recently Mainers United for Marriage. He begins on Oct. 15. Boston Baroque’s season, under founding music director Martin Pearlman, kicks off on Oct. 19 with Handel’s “Partenope,” featuring Amanda Forsythe in the title role.
