Night Watch

Case & Point at Rise

(Friday into) Saturday morning, 1 a.m.-6 a.m. Rise, 306 Stuart Street, Boston. With DKD, John Driscoll, and Ryan Ruel. 18+. Tickets: $10 members, $20 guests. 617-423-7473,

The deal: Over the past year, Boston-based house team Case & Point has exploded in the dance music scene, attracting thousands of fans with their bootlegs and remixes. Now, the duo will enter Rise’s after-hours, presenting their signature tracks composed of heavy basslines, hand-raising riffs, and intense synth lines to create what creative director Mike Swells calls “the ultimate dramatic sound.” With no drinks or dress code, this come-as-you-are event welcomes everyone to dance away the night (and a chunk of the morning).

The DJs: Case & Point are joined by special guests DKD & DJ John Driscoll, with DJ Ryan Ruel in the lounge.

What you’ll hear: Swells says partygoers can expect C&P’s massive remixes of Radiohead and Icona Pop. “This is really a testament to local artists who are capable of producing a globally recognized product,” said Swells.

Who goes: With the wider age range and lack of bar, expect to see a mishmash of attendees from EDM diehards to hardcore dancers to casuals looking for an excuse to stay out.

The tip: To survive this all-night extravaganza, Swells suggests you clock in a few extra hours of sleep and drink lots of water . “It’s the best way to make sure you can go late into the night.”
