He’s a Chicago Cubs fan, of course, but that doesn’t mean Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder can’t pitch in for a good cause in Boston. Vedder has just been added to the lineup for this month’s Hot Stove Cool Music fund-raiser at the Paradise. The PJ singer has previously performed at Hot Stove events in Chicago, but never in Boston. The benefit for Paul and Theo Epstein’s Foundation to Be Named Later takes place April 29. In addition to Vedder, a cast of thousands will
perform, including Bill Janovitz, Will Dailey, Kay Hanley, Tanya Donelly, Jen Trynin, Freda Love Smith, Hilken Mancini and Chris Toppin, Jenny Dee, Josh Kantor, Ed Valauskas, Chris Cote, Phil Aiken, former Yankees center fielder Bernie Williams, and Poi Dog Pondering’s Dag Juhlin and Max Crawford. Actor-writer Mike O’Malley will emcee. Tickets are available at www.ftbnl.org.
