Extreme Cheapskates 10 p.m. TLC

Eating dumpster gnocchi, doing laundry in the shower, putting experimental ointments in experimental places for sweet, sweet medical study cash – the “Extreme Cheapskates” make the “Extreme Couponing” people look like the “Real Housewives.” Tonight, a lady who stores urine in jars for use in her garden . . . naturally.


Cuban Missile Crisis: Three Men Go To War 8 p.m., Channel 2

Marking the 50-year anniversary of the crisis, This documentary deconstructs the tense 13 days in 1962 when JFK, Khrushchev, and Castro held the fate of the world in their hands.
