Critic’s Corner: Thursday, November 1

Parks and Recreation 9:30 p.m., Channel 7

Knope said yes. Last week, we got the payoff of years of courtship, when Ben asked Leslie (Amy Poehler, above) to marry him. It was a sweet scene, as Leslie kept pushing the pause button on Ben so she could savor the moment. Tonight, Leslie is panicked about meeting Ben’s parents, who are divorced. Casting of note: His father is played by Jonathan Banks, the journeyman actor who had his biggest breakthrough as Mike on “Breaking Bad.” Don’t cross him, Leslie.

The CMA Awards 8 p.m., Channel 5

And doesn’t the guest list always include Kenny Chesney, Kelly Clarkson, and Taylor Swift? Maybe I’m just caught in some kind of déjà vu spiral. Tonight, the gang’s all here for the 46th annual event. Pictured: Paisley and Underwood.
