On Demand movie highlights

(Movies on Demand) Another little girl from a broken, middle-class home becomes a demon’s plaything. This time the demon is Jewish and the exorcism is kosher. As the girl, Natasha Calis is a hoot, and this is better-made junk than its recent peers, but it’s morally lazy. Evil really needs to get over itself. With Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick as the dad and mom. (PG-13; runs through May 22)

(Movies on Demand) This is the sort of sequel that seems to make perfect sense to the people who made it but none to us. The Albanian relatives of the men killed in the first movie by the former CIA operative Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) seek revenge. The first movie was the divorced dad’s revenge fantasy done up as action-movie brutality. This one is action-movie camp. (PG-13; runs through May 26)

(Comcast Free Movies) It’s fun to watch, in part because it aims at stylishness and not at originality. As the latest dark hero of a pulp-style universe, Alec Baldwin keeps an edge on the playfulness, showing enough panache to avoid being upstaged by the sharp visuals. (PG-13; runs through April 26)
