Critic’s Corner: What’s on TV Friday

All-Star Celebrity Apprentice Sunday at 9 p.m., Channel 7

It’s season 13 and the celebrities have to sell meatballs. Wow, I liked writing that previous sentence way too much. Anyhow, Lisa Rinna is back, and so are her lips. Also, La Toya Jackson has cleared off her busy schedule to make a return; let’s hope her search for a nose has been successful. Gary Busey, Bret Michaels, Stephen Baldwin, Dee Snider, and Dennis Rodman round out the talented cast. Above (from left): Michaels, Claudia Jordan, and Jackson.

The Good Wife Sunday at 9 p.m., Channel 4

Report card: B++. The first of five consecutive new episodes begins on Sunday, and I’m not ambivalent about that. “The Good Wife” tends to run plots to the ground, like the business about the firm’s bankruptcy, but it’s so well written and acted I don’t care. The guest list just keeps expanding — Carrie Preston, Kyle MacLachlan (above left, with Preston), Amanda Peet, Maura Tierney, T.R. Knight, Dominic Chianese, and Lily Rabe are all scheduled for Sunday — and yet the episodes never feel crowded. It’s still the networks’ best drama.
