Blair Underwood.

Ironside  10 p.m., NBC

What? Yes, this show is canceled. Shockingly, the world did not go bonkers for Blair Underwood in a poorly written reboot of the Raymond Burr series. But before the show gets pulled next month for “Dateline,” NBC is burning off a couple of unaired episodes. In January, the “Chicago Fire” spinoff — called, what else, “Chicago PD” — will take over this slot.

Modern Family  9 p.m., ABC

This season, the show is building toward the gay wedding ceremony between Mitchell and Cameron (JESSE TYLER FERGUSON and ERIC STONESTREET). And since the couple ask Nathan Lane’s Pepper to be their event planner this week, the wedding is probably going to be an extravaganza. That, or the gays will get tired of the preparations and the rigors of the wedding industry and run off to elope.
