Hidden City 11 p.m., Travel Channel

In this series, thriller writer Marcus Sakey (above) goes from city to city to, as the Travel Channel puts it, “identify three crimes or criminals that reveal the character of the place.” So who are we? On Thursday night, Sakey visits Boston and reveals that we are a third Whitey Bulger, a third Boston Strangler, and a third the Great Brink’s Robbery. The Millers 8:30 p.m., CBS

The same joke will be funnier the 600th time, promise.

Sean Saves the World 9 p.m., NBC

The Michael J. Fox Show 9:30 p.m., NBC
