Buy This Restaurant  9 p.m., Food Network

In the second episode of this new series, we visit Aurum, a new Lebanese pie shop. Check out owners Matt and Andrea as they are led on a search for the perfect spot for a takeout business by restaurant broker Keith Simpson; the tour includes a hot wings place near Harvard University and a former pizza joint. It’s sort of like “House Hunters,” but with a tastier conclusion. And the bonus for Boston-area viewers is that they can go taste for themselves in Jamaica Plain.

Saturday Night Live in the 2000s: Time and Again  9 p.m., VH1

Look at the current TV landscape (and to some extent, the movies as well). This retrospective reveals that this was one of the most fertile time frames for “Saturday Night Live” in terms of launching sustained careers. The list of names that pop up on our screens post-“SNL” with regularity include Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Seth Meyers, Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell (above right with Darrell Hammond), Kristen Wiig, Tracy Morgan, Andy Samberg, Maya Rudolph, and Fred Armisen, among many others.
