Critic’s corner: What’s on TV this weekend

Tony Esparza/CBS

68th Annual Tony Awards Sunday, 8 p.m., CBS

Wolverine, a.k.a. Hugh Jackman, retracts his claws to host this annual celebration of Broadway’s best and brightest. Of course, as a Tony winner himself Jackman knows his way around a song and dance, so we’re hoping he favors us with both during his opening monologue. Among those performing will be former host and current nominee Neil Patrick Harris with the cast of “Hedwig and the Angry Inch,” Alan Cumming of “The Good Wife” reprising his role in the revival of “Cabaret,” and Idina Menzel (pictured), a.k.a. Adele Dazeem, who will be letting go of her “Frozen” alter ego to sing a tune from her nominated musical, “If/Then.”

Power Saturday, 9 p.m., Starz

Rapper 50 Cent produced this new crime drama starring Omari Hardwick (pictured) and Naturi Naughton and chronicling the double-life of the owner of a hot, hip New York City nightclub that serves as a front for the drug trade.
