Do you dabble in concocting gourmet recipes at home but long for more? Aspiring chefs may be in luck as “MasterChef” is holding an open casting call for its eighth season in Boston.

The auditions will be held at the Hyatt Regency Boston on Saturday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Potential contestants must bring a one-dish meal and will have three minutes to present it to the casting team, according to the “MasterChef” website, which also notes there will be no kitchen or cook to warm up the food.

People who can’t make the call can submit a video audition.

For the chance to get yelled at by chef Gordon Ramsay in front of millions of TV viewers, contestants have to be over the age of 18 and cannot ever have worked as a professional chef or in the food industry.

“MasterChef” is hosted by Ramsay, who co-created the show, and also stars chef Christina Tosi. The seventh season is set to premiere on June 1.
