No, it’s not just you.

The line between real politics and parody is becoming harder to define this election season. That was apparent again on this week’s “Saturday Night Live,” which had no shortage of comedic fodder for its cold open thanks to the final presidential debate that aired Wednesday night.

Yes, there was a “bad hombres” joke. Yes, Kate McKinnon’s Hillary Clinton dodged a question about her e-mails. Yes, Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump labeled the election “rigged” and faux-Clinton a “nasty woman.” He even referred to the Mexican president as “Mr. Guacamole,” before correcting himself. “Excuse me, Señor Guacamole.”

In the skit, faux-Trump said the media was making him look bad. When Tom Hanks, the show’s host who was playing broadcast journalist Chris Wallace, pressed him on how that could be, Baldwin responded, “By taking all of the things I say and all of the things I do and putting them on TV.”

In perhaps the most meta joke of the night, Baldwin’s Trump rattled off some of his supporters.

“I’ve even got the best Baldwin brother — Stephen Baldwin,” said faux-Trump.

Fake Trump also boasted that he was “winning in every single poll . . . taken outside of a Cracker Barrel.”

McKinnon’s Clinton, for her part, delivered this zinger: “What two better people are there to talk about women’s issues? Me, a woman who has had a child and has taken birth control, and him, a man who is a child and whose face is birth control?”
