So, the “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” reboot is coming together.

And no, that sentence is not a joke about how every old show ever is somehow getting a reboot. For real, Netflix is making the series, which is based on the Archie Comics characters. And for real, Kiernan Shipka, who played Sally Draper on “Mad Men,” is starring as the titular half-human half-witch.

Like “Riverdale,” “Sabrina” will have a dark horror-like spin to it, as our heroine stands up to evil forces that threaten her, her family, and, you know, the world as it exists now. The tone is being compared to “Rosemary’s Baby” and “The Exorcist,” as Sabrina tries to be both a witch-in-training and a high school sophomore.

The cast also includes Richard Coyle, Miranda Otto, Jaz Sinclair, and Lucy Davis (from the British “The Office”). Netflix has already commissioned two seasons.
