World premiere of ‘Tuck Everlasting’ musical postponed

The world premiere of “Tuck Everlasting’’ has been postponed. Broadway in Boston announced on Thursday that the musical, which was supposed to run at the Colonial Theatre July 28-Aug. 18, has been called off because of “a lack of theatre availability for its planned subsequent production in New York.” No new date has been announced. Broadway in Boston had already been promoting the show and even hosted an event in January with author Natalie Babbitt, who wrote the book on which the show is based .
