Show stoppers: Boston art schools showcase graduate thesis exhibits

Springtime, and the art school thesis shows are blooming. Not every artist will dazzle, but sometimes you will find a young artist with a sharp new vision and the chops to pull it off. Boston has a reputation as a city that nurtures young talent, with institutions such as the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, the Art Institute of Boston, and Boston University having launched the careers of art stars including Nan Goldin and Christian Marclay. Here are a few grads we think might hit it big as well:

Karmimadeebora McMillan, School of the Museum of Fine Arts

Nicholas Sullivan, Massachusetts College of Art

Cotton Miller, Art Institute of Boston

Jessica Borusky, School of Museum of Fine Arts

Unum Babar, Massachusetts College of Art and Design

James Case, Boston University
