Lloyd Knight at the Cape Dance Festival in 2014.Zoë Markwalter

Members of big-name companies convene on Cape Cod to dance amid the dunes. American Ballet Theater lured Jeffrey Cirio away from Boston Ballet last year, but the newly promoted principal dancer heads our way this summer. Cirio Collective, his seven-member troupe that includes his sister, Boston Ballet principal Lia Cirio, will choreograph and perform two pieces during the Cape Dance Festival. In its fourth year, the festival continues to attract high-level artists, including principals and soloists from the Martha Graham Dance Company and 2015 festival sweetheart Catherine Cabeen, artistic director of modern dance company Hyphen. Saturday, July 23 at 6-8 p.m. and Sunday, July 24 at noon-1 p.m. at Province Lands visitor center amphitheater, 171 Race Point Road, Provincetown, www.capedancefestival.com
