Laugh Lines: Boston comic Sean Sullivan

Sean Sullivan

‘This lady I work with told me she has raccoons in her attic, which sounded to me like an impossible problem to have. I don’t know how you get raccoons in your attic unless you open the door and escort raccoons up into your attic. I thought she was talking about menopause, to be honest with you. It’s a tone of voice thing. She’s an older lady. She’s like, “I got raccoons in the attic.” I was trying to be sympathetic. I said, “That’s gonna happen as you get older.” ’

A joke from Sean Sullivan, who celebrates the release of his new album, “Song & Dance Man,” Friday at The Gas at Great Scott.
