Just two months after recovering the last of its losses from the financial crisis, the Dow charged higher, closing above 15,000 for the first time — another milestone in the market’s epic ascent of 2013. Better economic news, strong corporate earnings, and fresh support from central banks have eased investors’ concerns. Many had feared a spring swoon would derail the rally, as in past years. Instead, US indexes are up nearly 15% since Jan. 1. Wall Street followed Japanese and European markets higher after they got good news about central bank stimulus and the German economy. The US market got a lift from higher profits at DirecTV and Fossil.
