PTC acquires New Jersey software firm

Needham’s PTC Inc., a maker of product lifecycle management software, said it has acquired NetIDEAS Inc., a New Jersey company that provides similar software products. The purchase price is not being disclosed. PTC said in a press release that said the two companies have worked together for more than a decade. “Today is the culmination of a relationship more than a decade strong, and I believe this is an exciting opportunity for PTC, its customers, and the industry,” PTC executive vice president Marc Diouane said.
