Boston Common is getting a little greener.

The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority, which operates the Boston Common Garage, unveiled electric charging stations and reserved parking spaces for hybrid and electric vehicles in the downtown facility.

Zipcar, the hourly car rental service, also introduced four Honda Accord plug-in hybrids that will be parked at the garage between rentals.

The green parking features 16 spaces, with eight reserved for Zipcar's electric and hybrid vehicles. In addition to the new plug-ins, Zipcar has 110 standard hybrids. The spots are near entrances and exits on the middle level.
