Iron Mountain operates in 36 countries.


Iron Mountain Inc., a Boston-based company that provides storage and information management services, has acquired Cornerstone Records Management for about $191 million in cash. The deal helps it expand its core information storage business by adding complementary small- and mid-sized organizations to its customer base. Cornerstone stores and manages nearly 11 million cubic feet of hard copy documents across 36 leased facilities across the country.
