The average price for gas in Massachusetts was $3.30 per gallon in the latest weekly AAA survey, down 4 cents from the previous week’s average, AAA Southern New England said Monday.
Massachusetts prices are 13 cents lower than they were a month ago.
The Massachusetts average is 5 cents higher than the current national average of $3.25 per gallon, AAA Southern New England said.
A year ago at this time, the Massachusetts average price was 35 cents higher at $3.65.
In the current Massachusetts weekly survey, the range in prices was 37 cents, from a low of $3.12 to a high of $3.49.
AAA’s weekly surveys focus on self-serve, regular unleaded gas.
