ClickSoftware buys California company

ClickSoftware Technologies Ltd., a business software company with offices in Burlington and Israel, said Tuesday that it had agreed to buy Xora Inc. of Mountain View, Calif., for about $14.7 million.

Xora, whose partners include Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint, specializes in cloud-based systems for managing mobile workers. When completed, the transaction will broaden the range of complementary services that ClickSoftware can offer to its customers.
