Clean Harbors’ results disappoint Street

Clean Harbors Inc. reported quarterly earnings of 44 cents per share, 11 cents worse than analysts estimated, StreetInsider.com reported. Revenue at $879.4 million missed the consensus estimate of $894.4 million. The company also forecasts 2014 revenue of $3.5 to $3.6 billion, not the $3.7 to $3.8 billion it previously estimated. Results “were below expectations, as an unanticipated slowdown due to adverse weather and the timing of holidays in December affected our business after a very strong start in October,” said Alan S. McKim, CEO.
