Synergy Investments said Monday that it has sold 51 Melcher St., a former industrial building in Boston’s Fort Point Channel neighborhood, to a member company of Zurich North America for $52.8 million.
Synergy’s partner in ownership and sale of the property is Independencia Asset Management LLC.
The building was empty when Synergy purchased it in 2012 for $10.5 million. Synergy then spent two years on renovations. The 102,727-square-foot brick and beam building is now fully leased. Tenants include WeWork, Life is good, and NetSuite.
