AirMall USA Inc., a company that operates food and beverage concessions at airports, said it has just completed renovations to its Terminal E food court at Logan International Airport.

Tenants at the Terminal E food court include Starbucks, Vino Volo, Burger King, Sbarro, and Earl of Sandwich.

The renovations included numerous cosmetic updates to the food court, along with the installation of so-called “living walls.”

The four 5-foot-high living walls were designed by Cityscapes, a Boston-based company focused on enriching environments through the power of plants. Aside from aesthetics, the wall will provide natural air filtration and “acoustical separation,” AirMall said.

The company said it spent $170,000 on Terminal E food court renovations.

AirMall also operates concessions at Logan’s Terminal B. Earlier this year, AirMall joined Terminal B tenants in making a $3.7 million investment in expanding that space at Terminal B, said AirMall, which also operates concessions at airports that serve Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., market.

“Part of AirMall’s commitment to the airports that we serve is our ongoing investment in the concessions program,” Michael Caro, vice president of AirMall Boston, said in a statement. “This investment (at Terminal E) not only includes bringing new and exciting local and national brands to the airport, but also refreshing and refurbishing existing units to keep them renewed and updated.”
