Chocolate croissants, pizza bagels coming to Dunkin’

Parisian patisseries beware: Dunkin’ Donuts, the ubiquitous Canton-based coffee-and-doughnuts franchise, has rolled out two new items for the new year.

Starting Tuesday, the company plans to start selling chocolate croissants and bagels topped with mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, and herbs at some of its restaurants. Both items are served hot, and will be on the menu until some point in 2015. Dunkin’ didn’t specify which restaurants would sell the new products.

The company also said Tuesday that it would be conducting a daily sweepstakes among followers of its Twitter page Winners could receive a year’s worth of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee or a $100 gift card to the store.
