745 Atlantic Ave., an 11-story office building a couple of blocks from South Station, has been acquired by Oxford Properties Group for $114.5 million.
The building has 8,000 square feet of retail space and 166,000 square feet of office space, in addition to a 152-stall parking garage. Four tenants currently fully occupy the space, including WeWork, a startup coworking space, and the tech consulting firm Cambridge Consultants.
"745 Atlantic Avenue typifies the assets Oxford wants to own," said Chad Remis, head of Oxford's Boston platform, said in a statement. "It's high quality, boutique offering perfectly aligns with one of our key investment strategies to acquire and develop Class A offices located in and around major transportation nodes."
Since launching in September 2014, Oxford Properties Group has acquired four properties in the Boston metro area: 225 Franklin St., 60 State St., and 125 Summer St. in Boston, and One Memorial Drive in Cambridge. In total, the company owns 2.9 million square feet of office space that is valued at nearly $2 billion.
