Comcast says services are returning to normal Tuesday after a hardware issue led to an outage on its voice, video, and Internet services for several hours.
According to a map on DownDetector.com earlier Tuesday, Comcast was reporting large pockets of outages in such areas as Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland. The hashtag #ComcastOutage was also trending nationally on Twitter.
Comcast said services should be returning to normal as of about 10:30 a.m.
