On Tuesday, the Amazon-owned grocery store announced that it will begin offering Prime Now deliveries in Boston and three other new cities. Amazon customers who have Prime memberships will be able to get their groceries delivered gratis from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. If you need something in just an hour, it will cost $7.99 with a minimum $35 purchase.

Whole Foods rolled out the Prime Now deliveries earlier this year in eight cities. It has also introduced a 10 percent discount on grocery purchases to Prime members in several states since the e-commerce giant purchased the grocery chain last year.

Amazon announced Monday that it would extend that deal into 10 new states, bringing the national tally to 23 locations. The discount isn’t available in Massachusetts.
