Patriot Ledger to leave Crown Colony office park after three decades

Braintree is shaping up to be a media mecca.

First, the Boston Herald decided to relocate there. Now, this: The Patriot Ledger has announced plans to move from Quincy’s Crown Colony office park, its home for three decades, to the Adams Place office complex that straddles the Braintree-Quincy line in December.

The GateHouse Media-owned paper’s 36 editorial employees will relocate to Adams Place on Route 37, 2-plus miles away from Crown Colony, while nine employees in other departments will move to the company’s Pacella Park Drive office in Randolph. The newspaper originally moved from Quincy Center to Crown Colony in 1988.
