Another big music club is coming to Boston, this one at Boston Landing in Brighton.

Concert promoter The Bowery Presents said Wednesday that it will open a 3,500-seat performance venue in a building planned for New Balance’s big mixed-use development alongside the Massachusetts Turnpike.

The facility will also include a 5,000-seat running track the shoemaker hopes will become a hub for track events. Construction is set to begin in April, with an opening planned for 2021.

New York-based Bowery Presents also operates the 1,200-seat Royale club downtown and the 525-seat Sinclair in Cambridge.

“We take great pride in the business our team has developed in Boston,” Bowery Presents partners Jim Glancy and John Moore said in a statement. “This new venue will be an exciting new addition.”

The concert hall planned for Brighton is one of at least three sizable venues in the works around the city. The Red Sox and Live Nation are planning a 5,000-seat concert theater alongside Fenway Park on Lansdowne Street, while Big Night Entertainment and Live Nation are partnering on a midsized club in the Hub on Causeway complex next to TD Garden.
