A Boston story in 50 words

Summer 1972. Dad rushes to Boston to see his mother at MGH. He double-parks just like everyone else. Police officer says move. “No license,” I, only 15, respond. “Move!” the officer yells. I drive around the block while my sister, 13, navigates. Same spot. No officer, just a red-faced Dad. — Anne Macdonald
