Improv Asylum’s ‘All the Single Ladies’

At Ned Devine’s, 1 N. Market St., Boston. Saturday night (and all Saturdays), 7:30 p.m.-2 a.m. Tickets: $25 for GA Floor, $35 for reserved seating. 617-248-8800, www.neddevinesboston.com

The deal: From Boston’s award-winning Improv Asylum, “All the Single Ladies” offers bachelorette parties and girls-night-out groups a wild night of comedy, dancing, and naughtiness. Over the course of the show, four friends set out for one last wild night out before one of them gets married. After a few drinks, old feuds and new secrets threaten their good time; only singing and dancing can help them work through it. The performers interact with guests; bachelorettes (and bachelors) are promised a special treat. A hilarious, high-energy outing, “All the Single Ladies” promises to have you laughing, singing, and dancing with your BFFs.

The music: The show runs from April to October, and its presenters update the setlist in April and August so that the newest and most popular hits are featured. If you’re a fan of getting down to America’s Top 40, this is the show for you.

Who’s going: The show mainly attracts young bachelorette parties (20s-30s), but it’s not uncommon to see a “divorce party” now and then. Don’t worry if you don’t fit into either of those categories: The show is a great time for any “single lady,” as well as an everyday group of friends looking for a fun night out

The tip: Avoid long lines and call ahead to reserve seats. Also make sure your guest of honor (bachelorette, bachelor, recent divorcee, etc.) is ready to get on stage and risk mild embarrassment, all in the spirit of fun.
