Merida

Textile and rug company Merida just opened its new showroom at the Boston Design Center, featuring its multiple collaborative lines, including those designed by top interior talents Mark D. Sikes and Ashe + Leandro. It’s also debuting a new collection of Mediterranean-inspired rugs called Viamaris, named after an ancient trade route in the Middle East. The rich mohair and undyed wool rugs, which are easily customizable, are loomed in the company’s 40,000-square-foot workshop in Fall River. The showroom works with the trade only, but is easily accessible through the Boston Design Center’s Designer on Call program. Merida, Boston Design Center, 1 Designer Center Place, Boston, 800-345-2200, meridastudio.com
